Consider buying a nice looking 98 Ford Escort Estate 1.8 Diesel at Euro 1700. Seems to be in real great nick (MOT Oct 05) but will need VRT, NCT and ROI plates = sound like a lot of additional costs and bother.Will it still be within average price range? Have considered keeping car taxed and insured in NI(much cheaper - we're being robbed blind here). Any info and opinion appreciated.
