business woes

hi all
i own a business (cafe) in Exeter, which after 4 1/2 years is struggling badly, mostly thanks to greedy landlord, solicitors and council
so 50k in the hole i don't want to play any more
if i just shut the doors and cease trading, what are the ramifications, will my creditors be able to come at me for the little equity there is left in my house
btw i am a sole trader, not limited company, and vat registered
