Hi all,
I hope someone can assist me with this.
I am about to set up a business with 2 staff members. I will be marketing it and doing the accounts but the day to day work will be done by my staff. Is it wise to set up as a sole trader and trade under a name??
 
I would suggest that you see a tax advisor.

In addition to having to decide whether to be a sole trader or Ltd company, you will have to have accounts prepared and set up bookkeeping records, tax returns, operate PAYE on your salaries to employees, and other issues such as whether to register for VAT, and employment law, holiday pay issues will arise that will need to be addressed.
