Bush Hotel Carrick on Shannon

Hi guys,
I want to go to Carrick on Shannon for a weekend in July but the Landmark Hotel (which I've heard is quite nice) is booked out. (Its for an anniversary so not flexible on dates) Has anyone ever stayed in the Bush Hotel? Any thoughts on it? Is there anywhere else in Carrick worth looking at?

As far as I know the Bush Hotel was done up in the past year or two. I was at a retirement function there last year and the food was very good in the restaurant. I didn't stay there over night although I have never heard anything bad about it and its right in the centre of town. I think you should go for it. The decor etc was very nice.
