So i wonder if you could help, I rippen a music video from a dvd cause that's all i wanted from that dvd.
So when i rip it, the 5 files are created, 2x.bup, 2x.ifo & 1x.vob.
My questions are:
(a) If i burn the .vob to a dvd will the dvd player actually play it?
(b)do i need to burn the other files too?
(c)do i need to put all the files through a movie-maker software like Ulead?

I suppose the obvious answer is the question: "why don't you just try it?"

A: I would but i only have dvd-r all my RWs are full.

All of the files should be in a folder VIDEO_TS the folder needs to be burned for it to work. You can download dvd shrink for free. Select open files and then hit backup and it will do the rest.

not necessary to copy these 2x.bup. basically theey are back up files.
