Burning DVD

Hi guys
I can get footage from camcorder to PC and it plays no problem but when I burn DVD my playstation (doubles as DVD player) cannot read the disc. Is there a certain format I should use to burn the DVD. Not very techno so simple english please. Use windows media player on PC and would like to use this to burn DVD. Also bought PC with vista in states so perhaps it makes a USA format DVD how do I change this?

Try www.videohelp.com which is a great source of info on handling digital video formats, tools etc. - you may need to convert the original digital video format into something suitable for playing on a DVD player. Are you sure that your Playstation can read recordable DVD media (DVD-R or DVD+R)?

not sure if playstation can play them. anyone know? will try it on sister in laws DVD player.
