hi

Have a 3hr film that will not fit onto your standard 4.7gb dvd-r

Seen larger capacity dvd-r's on www.marx-computers.com

Anyone have any problems when burning large files as dont want to shell out for dvd for it to be a coaster

You would need a dual layer drive to use the dvds larger than 4.7gb?

Also, I had problems using larger capacity cd-rs than standard due to firmware issues with my laptop.

Have you used [broken link removed] to rip/compress the movie so that it will fit on a recordable DVD?

they are .bin & .cue files and dvdshrink wont work with these

might mess around with Nero recode but may effect quality of film

If they are bin-cue then use [broken link removed] to mount the image on a virtual drive then use DVD Shrink to squeeze them. I've found that DVD Shrink does a good job even when compression is set to its maximum.
