Bundoran

Have booked a few days away in july for bf and myself. we are booked into budoran for 2 nights but are flexible for third night. have never been up that end of the country before so am looking for suggestions for things to do, restaurants, pubs etc. all suggestions appreciated......

Sorry to be a spoil the party but if I was heading to that end of the country Bundoran is the last place I would go. Far too commercialised and tacky. It would be a much better idea to move around each night - plenty of scenery/lovely beaches.

Not totally familiar with the areameself but if you are intending staying there any time around 12th July it will most likely be extremely busy.

Give Bundoran a miss! Anywhere else in Donegal is preferable. Although, that said Rosnowlagh (quite near Bundoran) has a beautiful beach & a nice pub called Smugglers Inn (I think).

Smugglers creek in Rossnowlagh is very nice place to eat

Herveys point is also worth a visit.

Bundoran is a bit rough but there is plenty there for kids.
