Just wondering which is best option - i tend to change money before i go and bring it with me.... but never been to bulgaria before. can you use your maestro card over there? is it still as cheap as everyone says????


no idea about exchange over there - my guide is see how much a can of coke is :)
 
you can use all cards in Bulgaria but you would be much better off with cash. do not exchange money in any of the kiosks along the beaches/ in resorts only use the banks.
A can of coke is abt 40-60 cent depending on where you are in Bulgaria.
 
cool thanks......... found out there is a bank in the hotel / just under it, on or the other, so will be great......
