Built in oven - glass panel loose?

Have a Zanussi built in oven. In cleaning of oven this weekend the inside panel (glass) of the oven door came loose. Anyone know if this can be re-fitted?

Normally these are held in by screws all the way around. Did you loosen any off or forget to tighten any back up?

There are no visible screws on the door. The panel has now come off and it looks like there was some sort of seal (about 3 cm long) at the middle of the top and bottom. There's still a glass door on the front and the gap to where this panel goes in is about 2cm.

Sounds like the supporting seal has come away and this will probably lead to a loss of heat.

You could try contacting Zanussi or possibly ring somewhere like Mastercare if the oven is out of warranty. AFAIK the average call out for places like Zanussi are in or around the €80 to €120 mark.
