Building Survey and Solicitor

Hi,

We are in the process of buying an old house and we have just had the building survey completed. The surveyor has clearly written on the report that a copy of the survey should be forwarded to the solicitor, but the solicitor has refused to look at the survey. Just wondering if this is normal practice?

Solicitor is not qualified to comment on a survey. You have to give instructions to your solicitor based on the surveyors advice.
