Can anybody let me know do you need planning permission to build a wall adout 2ft high around your front garden in a housing estate. No other houses in the estate have walls
Yes you can build to a maximum height of 1.2m in front of your house and 2 m to the side without permission as it is exempted BUT YOU MUST check that the planning permission granted for the development does not specifically state that "no walls are to be built due to the nature of the development".
