I am wondering do i have a leg to stand on. My builders contract says-
entrance walls to front, finish to match house. The front of my house is completed in sandstone and now he makes out he meant plaster finish as that if the majority of the house.Who is right? the builder or I. Is it worth bringing to the attention of my solicitor.
thanks for any advice really out of my depth.

I would have understood the same as you....if you had a red brick front and the rest of the house pebbledash.....you would expect a red brich finish for any work done at the front of the house. Especially with the wording you said. Might be worth telling hm you plan you check it with a solicitor and see if he can be swayed.

Did you have an architect who drew up the contract. If so ask him.
The wall is meant to match the house when you look at them at the same time so of course you are correct.
