buffalo 1tb no power

Hi,
I bought 1tb drive recently. It came with a usb cable and apower cable. The three prongled plug slides onto the atapter and can plug it in.
There is no power. Has anyone bought one of these and had this problem.

Did you check the fuse? Try the cable on something else and see if it works. If not, send the unit back for replacement under warranty. Assuming it was recently you bought the hard drive....

I have a couple of these drives and they can only be powered when connected to PC via the USB port... I assume you have it connected to the PC ? There is no power switch on them

its connected ok..

I cant get it in to it to check the fuse the socket is sealed all around. I'll just bring it back. A new plug will do if thats it.
