Budapest property ownership proof

Hi All,
New to this forum but from reading seems quite powerful.

My problem at moment is seeing as Budapest is the flavour of the month in the media etc I am starting to get a little paranoid.

I own a 1 bed apartment with my partner for last 4 years.

We rented once to friend but mainly used it ourselves and family.

We have a managment agent but recently caught them renting under our noses.

The paranoia lies with the fact that I need to hunt down proof of ownership with our names for that sepcific apartment (eliminate my scam fears).

Anybody got assistance who has done this already so i can initiate procedures.

I think they call it Title Deeds ?

You just need to ask your lawyer to get you a fresh 'tulajdoni lap' (property sheet). You'll be able to check if your name is registered as the current owner. There are no physical 'title deeds' like in Ireland.
