I am relatively new to the site....and the Budapest articles make great reading, although not for all the correct reasons. Budapest does have its problems with transparancy and honesty of agents etc...but then so does most places when it comes to property companies!!
I own an apartment in Budapest and currently let short term. My agent is great, but she is returning to her native country in December. She has found someone to take on my apartment for me, but at present not knowing the new person - and knowing what a lot of agents in Budapest are like - I need to do my own searching too.
If anyone has any good contacts or has an apartment in Budapest which is well looked after by their agent, please let me know and I would be grateful for recommendations.
