BT Termination

Hi, does anyone know how i can fix the following problem? I bought a phone from Argos the other day and my problem is, is that it has a BT connection. Now they don't fit our telephone sockets here, I tried using our standard leads here but they dont work for it. Is there an adaptor i can get for the BT termination or something i can use. Thanks

Normally Argos supply one free with BT 'phones. If you haven't already ordered one from eBay.
