Not sure if this is the correct place for this, if not please move

Anyway I noticed this line on my BT bill this month :

cost --------------Date ------------------time ----------number---------------------- Destination ---------Duration
22.27 -------06/11/06 ----11:00 ----00448702435000----- UK Mobile ---01:32:55

The number in question is Sky Technical Support (Which explains the duration)

But why should this be charged as international mobile??
Anyone know if this is right? As usual its impossible to get an answer from BT customer service.

This may not be much help,
BT seem to class all calls to UK 0044 - 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 as mobile for charging purposes
[broken link removed]:

These 0870 number cause a lot of discussion in the UK:

I don't know whether this would work , but perhaps ask them to call you back next time.

How can the class a landline number as international mobile?

Waiting for a freply from jim russell
