BT answering machine / dect phone

My dect phone will need replacing soon.Do the BT ones and/or all the ones in Argos definitely work in Ireland. No issues with line etc?
 
I've used a DECT phone from Argos for many years - the connection from the phone base to the wall is different, so if you buy in Argos Ireland, you should get an adaptor along with the phone (at no extra charge).

As it happens, Lidl are doing a DECT phone/answering machine + additional handset next Thursday 12th for €40.
