broker/lawyer in Budapest

Hi

Can anyone recommend property broker in Budapest who can deal with all bank and credit paper works? Is it a good idea to hire a broker? How much would it cost?

Although my wife is Hungarian, we are having trouble with replies from Hungarian banks and also getting lost in tons of information. I would imagine someone who is managing all process for some symbolic fee

I opened an a/c with Citibank & had no problems whatsoever as all their info is in both English & Hungarian. Also they've a pretty good website & a telephone banking service in English.
Is it a mortgage you're looking for ? Rates out there are extremely high for mortgages......in the region of 10% - 12%. Not sure where you live but you're better getting a mortgage somewhere else.

I agree with Perplexed, I travelled over and into a city center branch of Citibank; set up a EURO and a FLORINT a/c (maybe that was mandatory, I can't remember). All in about 15 minutes.
Either way, I have internet banking, and a Cirrus banklink card. I can use both from here in IRL.
