B Boris1234 Registered User Messages 14 23 Sep 2017 #3 Rang aib last Monday to query breaking out and refixing at the new lower rate. Was advised it would be sent to accounts and I would be receiving a letter. Nothing came all week so I will update with the outcome as soon as I receive it.

B Boris1234 Registered User Messages 14 27 Sep 2017 #4 So to my surprise we received the letter from AIB stating that there is no breakout fee for us to get out of our current fixed rate. Result!! We are only in our second month of repayments so I guess that was a factor.
