Broadband - Perlico etc

Hi

I've recently started working from home 1-2 days a week and have got the vodafone mobile modem. However I've found it to be unreliable. It regularly crashes and the signal goes. I've signed up to an 18 mth contract. If it has proved unreliable, can I break the contract?

I see Perlico have a deal on at the moment for 99c. Anyone have any thoughts on it?
 
Don't go near them-that'd be my advice. 'Had an AWFUL experience with them.....
 
Vodafone have recently bought a controlling stake in Perlico, so there might be an offer for transfer with them, as they are both owned by the same company
 
I'll second Danole. I know someone who changed from eircom to them this summer, todate their broadband is still not working.
 
I'll third Danole & Towger! I won't go into the specifics but my experience with them was disastrous & more hassle than it was worth!
 
I signed up for Perlico broadband two weeks ago. Got the modem and password to access service within 3 ( yes three) days and it's working fine.
