I'm looking to order Broadband, however the PC which will be used has no RJ 45 port in it, is there an adaptor I can buy eg: usb - rj45 or rj11 - rj45 so I can connect from the PC to the hub. Or what are my other options. Thanks in advance.

If the PC has a spare PCI slot then a PCI network card might be the cheapest option (probably €10-€20 - e.g. see [broken link removed]). Otherwise you can get USB ethernet adaptors but they will be more expensive (e.g. see [broken link removed] - €28). Shop around too. Maybe try eBay.

I have the BT Voyager 210 router, and have connected using the USB socket that it has. http://www.voyager.bt.com/wired_routers/voyager_210/product_info.htm

Same here - using a linksys wireless g usb adapter - connecting into the voyager 2110 wirelessly.

a broadband modem will usually have a facility to connect to your pc using either usb or rj45. once u order the modem in you should be able to get it to work without needing anything else

Alternatively you can go wireless and get a USB wireless adaptor for your PC. These are about 40 euro - see .

Maplins also good for this stuff. Paid 20 euro for mine there..

We don't know that the router is wireless capable and, in any case, some router admin tasks cannot be done reliably over wireless (and, if possible, wireless admin access should be disabled for security reasons).
