Broadband in Enfield ????

My brother is looking to check out broadband in Enfield.

He has a phone line at the mo from Eircom.

Dial up is costing a fortune and slow.

What options do I have other than eircom who seem expensive.

I helped setup a mate on NTL who seem pretty good.

What is the equivelant for Enfield?

Sure once you're able to get Eircom broadband you've a host of DSL options wherever you are in the country, I've BT myself for €40 a month for 2mb line includine rental so that works out about €15 a month for the broadband alone. BT's customer service has a bit of work to do but I've had horror stories with the crowd in Eircom and my sister with Smart so I don't know if anyone's perfect.

According to the site for checking which provider is available there was no mention of BT.

According to BT the line is fine.

Worth the question to get the info from nicelives.

If it's available, I would recommend UTV myself-I've never had any problems with them.

Exactly, once you can get eircom, you can get a host of providers and in terms of cost, eircom is one of the last you should sign up for.
