Hi folks,
I'm living in the Cork area - Carrigaline to be exact, and I am toying with the idea of upgrading from standard dial-up to broadband. I am currently a customer of Esat BT and was wondering what packages are available in this area from whoever and what represented Good Value. Any opinions are most welcome.

Horse.

Check Amocom for wireless BB, i think they have a subsidurary providing service in the area, a friend of mine has it in Carrigaline I think. I have amocom BB (airwaveinternet.net) in east cork and it works great. Better still, you dont have any landline costs, so you can dump your landline and go VOIP.

Dont know aht the name of Amocoms subsidurary (reseller effectively) in Carrigaline, but have a look at their website and you should find it, else let me know and I will ask my mate.

One downside, is the speeds are'nt up to the same standard as what Digiweb are offering, but Digiweb aint in Carrigaline, but 512 works fine for me. Higher speeds are available but more expensive.
