broadband contract

I took out a trial offer with utv clicksilver for 4 months free broadband last october.I was so impressed with it I kept it,however my finances have changed and I need to make some trimmings.The T+C state the contract is for 12 months,is there any way out of this?

In general, no. But get onto them and explain the situation and they may waive the terms & conditions in this specific case (e.g. by only tieing you into a shorter contract or allowing early termination with no penalty).
