I need to send a SAE (stamped addressed envelope) to the UK. Does anyone know where I can obtain British 1st Class stamps in Dublin ?
ie Stamps with the Queen's head on them

I've tried the Post Office, Easons & Reads. Post Office doesn't sell International Reply Coupons anymore either.

Thanks

That's a bit mad (...Ted) — but apparently true!

So we're back to the days of sellotaping a £1 coin to a piece of card? Nice one, un-pussed!

you MUST know someone going to Newry on Saturday. Half of Dublin will be there.

Stuffit, I presume the letter is coming back to you? If it is then the 1st. class stamp is no good because from the UK to Republic of Ireland it takes a European stamp. The British 1st. is only for inside the UK.

Not much help to you, but the cost of a stamp from UK to Ireland is 42 pence for airmail. This is the cost of a letter to anywhere in Europe, but is still a UK stamp.
