We have the offer of a house exchange in BRETIGNOLLES SUR which is 60km south of Nantes on the Atlantic coast. Has anyone holidayed around this area and, if so, would you recommend it?

Yes this is a nice spot.

Have stayed for past 2 years on a campsite just down the road in Brem sur Mer (3 miles)

Britignolles is a busy spot in the Summer.

Good base to explore the area.

Make suree and go to Puy du Fou about 1.5hrs drive inland. It's a must see.

PM me if you need any other info.

Hi Daddy
Is that Le Chaponnet by any chance? Thinking of it for later in the year with husband and 2 year old. Would you recommend it?
Thanks

That's right.

I like the site very much. Quiet.

Going again this year.

Lovely village.

What ages are your kids - suitable up to 14.

Lovely beaches very nearby, surfing schools abound.

Who are you thinking of as tour operator ?

I know all the operators on the site if any help.

We were planning to do it ourselves, fly Shannon to Nantes, car hire and cabin rental. Have done it a few times in the past to Northern Spain, wanted to try France this year. Worked out well that way but have to check dates and price it up first. What operators use the site?
Thanks a lot!

Hello France
Site itself www.lechaponnet.com

For best price I would suggest Questenfrance (UK) (sticklers for cleanliness but you must leave the mobile spotless for inspection) or Hello France. Try to hammer a deal.
