Breaking Rabo Fixed Term

Hi, Does anybody know what rabo normally do when you break a 6 month term account, I put 25k in in August at 5.25%

I also thought about breaking a fixed term, but on reflection decided to stick with RAbo. I am happy with their assurances...Triple A etc.

they are guaranateed up to 100k by dutch governmnet ( today 7/10/08 ) so no need to break..............

Maybe the original poster simply needs the money now? They said nothing about security being an issue.

If you don't need the money urgently then 5.25% isn't the worst rate on offer right now even it's not the best either.

Rabo seem to have increased their short term fixed rates again after a decrease in the last few weeks.

There is a charge. The FAQ states:

" Note: Withdrawing early from a Term Deposit will incur a charge, for more information please contact the Contact Centre at [email protected]"
