Breaffy International Sports Hotel- castlebar

Hi all,
the clan spent last weekend in the above hotel.have to say a great place. had a deal for €99 per room per night for 4 of us, full use of onsite sister hotel facilities- swimmingh pool etc (strange one swimming pool towel cost €1 for those staying in 1 hotel but not the other ?????)
grub very good, reasonable and plenty of it. Only just open 2 weeks at this stage.
Tip if spa treatments wanted (loads of choices) book them , herself asked about one for sunday on sat evening and all booked out at that stage.

note no connection with the hotel at all.

The grounds around the area also provide a lovely location for a scenic walk... and all within a short distance of Castlebar [less than a ten minute drive] (continually improving as a shopping town/concert venue/etc).

Havn't seen/visited the new complex but knowing some of the staff in the "old" hotel I'm assured it is a beautiful complex. Also heard some very good reports on the Spa (from someone who was working there it must be said, but with no vested interest in reporting it other than honestly).
