Brand new “Hoover” washer dryer.
Opened the door of the washer dryer and found amongst other items a “ register your 10 year parts only” warranty….
Two phone numbers on it, one for the UK and one for the Republic of Ireland.
Called the ROI number and you get through to domestic and general insurance company.
They claim no, it’s definitely not a 10 year warranty despite what is written on the “register now” card it’s only a two-year part warranty.
Sent a complaint email into Hoover which I’m sure will be ignored. What’s the next step? Thanks.

Your contract is with the supplier. Did they inform you that you were entitled to a 10 year pars warranty?

That said, Hoover Ireland's online terms do confirm the 10 year parts warranty. Also, don't go quoting Trading Standards, they are a UK body.

Yeah, the Irish support for Hoover is run from a UK based company, they're perfectly entitled to charge in Sterling.
