Bratislava to Vienna

I am flying to Bratislava airport next month and I need to get to Vienna. The airline I am flying with has a bus shuttle from the airport to Vienna. The advertised price is €10 each way but when I go to book I find that just like an airline ticket they are loading the bus ticket with taxes, fees and charges!! I think when bus tickets are now being loaded with these hidden charges it is the beginning of the end. What next? Anyhow. Has anyone done this trip and any recommendations please?.

The nicest but not the cheapest way to go from Bratislava to Vienna is by riverboat on the Danube.

Bratislava itself is also worth a night. Compact , unspoilt and inexpensive.

Did the river boat myself, not the most scenic. The Danube is very wide and the country side very flat for most of the stretch.

There is a bus going from Vienna via Vienna Airport to Bratislava. A return ticket costs 16 Euro. The webpage is only in german, [broken link removed]
