brake pads how much?

Would anyone have a rough idea how much front brake pads would be?

Ive rang a few places and got some very different answers. does the type of car make a difference?

€40 for them from one shop exc putting them in. Another garage reckon 70 + 70 thats like 140 please help am confused

that depends wat car u have. kwik fit/ advance pit stop should do good price around 60 for both wheels

kwik fit will insist in changing the brake disk as well...

OH went to kwik fit for change pads, and came back with large bill (€150 from memory) for pads and disk.. (the disk were perfect and did no need change)

Few months later, went back for rear pads....same story, though she said "no way" and had to sign a disclaimer form stating she did not want the disk changed.. was about €60 (Golf), again from memory.

€40ish should cover most run of the mill cars. For that you should get 4 pads ie 2 wheels worth. supply only though. I fit my own so i cant say how much for labour.

you would be looking at 65 euro plus vat for smaller cars including fitting from fiesta to focus size larger cars can be more expensive
