Brake lights coming on while driving

My brake lights are permanently on when I am driving the car - its a Ford Focus. Just wondering if anyone might have any idea as to what the possible problem is?

Don't know but should you continue to drive the car while it isn't fixed, as it will impact those driving behind you.

there is a switch which the brake pedal meets to activate the lights, get some one to have a look at it, it can be adjusted as far as i know and that should sort the problem out,
