Never, ever, allow anyone to remove your boundary fence to facilitate their building an extension, contact your solicitor immediately (get a legally binding contract 1st if going through with it - make sure conditions added, in case of neighbour not keeping to the contract i.e. remove the whole thing off your land and repair all damage), check the land registry for your actual boundaries and fight until your last breath any attempt to steal your land and light (and right to peace & quiet).

Your mortgage is also at risk if you don't defend your land (banks would love any excuse to stop your tracker mortgage)
