Boundary rectification: Plan hand drawn with no written description

I bought my property in 2004.

In 1999 some of the land which had been part of the original title was sold.

The plan used for this sale was hand drawn and was not accompanied by a written description.

The Land Registry's interpretation of the plan is not in accordance with the intentions of the original transferor.

Is it possible to rectify this by asking the original transferor and the original transferee to sign an affidavit which describes the boundaries as they were intended?

I'm not sure what you mean by a 'hand drawn plan' but be that as it may...

You probably don't need the original transferor now, just yourself and the other transferee. A consent to amend the boundaries might be sufficient accompanied by a map marked by an engineer to show where the boundaries should be.
