Whilst the gig was cancelled, the shop, who gets the handling fee, did their job in "handling" the sale. In fact, they did double the normal amount of work for the same fee, in that they had to handle the refund as well.
Should they not be entitled to payment for services rendered, assuming there was no issue with how the shop handled the sale?
I'm playing devil's advocate on this one a bit, as I know the store should refund all the monies as the purchaser doesn't really care who gets what from the original price. But, maybe an idea as to why the store is holding onto the money.
But if that was the case how come the handling charge is per ticket and not per transaction.
The shop handles one transaction for 6 tickets and one for refund and yet has taken 6 handling charges.
