Bought 4 tickets to see Westlife in Croke Park next June. Change standing to seated?

Hi, I hope someone can help.

To make a long story short - I have bought 4 tickets for my niece and her friends to go to see Westlife in Croke Park next June.

I was giving her a gift of two tickets for Christmas... anyway, I went on line today and bought four tickets and only then realised I had bought standing only - two of the group have mobility problems and I stupidly thought I had bought seated tickets... is there any possibility of changing? refunding? and no seated tickets left!

It was just an absolute mistake on my part and hope there is some advice

Re: Help!

thanks - I'm having a bad day all round. How do I change the heading or should I just re-post the query under an appropriate heading?

thanks again.

Hi Jps,

Don't know if you've got sorted, but just thought I'd reply!

Get onto the ticket agency you bought the tickets from (presumably Ticketmaster?) and check with them if you can swap. If there are no seated tickets left then obviously this wouldn't be possible. You mention that two of her friends have mobility problems, concerts always have a specific section for wheelchair users etc which you could also enquire about if this would be more suitable. The tickets for this section are separate again from seating/standing tickets.

Perhaps post your 4 tickets swap request on a site such as Buy & Sell. There are always people looking to swap tickets so you might be lucky.

If all else fails, keep your ears open closer to the gig as extra tickets are always released a couple of weeks before shows so you might be able to buy seats then and you shouldn't have any problems selling your original standing tickets.

Hope this helps and good luck!
