Booking more than a year in advance?

Is it possible to book a holiday more than a year in advance through any of the websites? Leaving Thailand tonight to return to Dublin and already looking into going to Orlando and New York next October but most of the websites will only allow you to book up as far as August next year.

Most bookings (flights, & hotels etc.) are available up to 330 days in advance. So by Dec/Jan you should be able to book for next October.

With companies going out of business at such a rate at the moment are you wise to be booking that far in advance. Payment by credit card might help if you do go ahead.
