Resounding result for the left-wing socialists in Bolivia. Democracy at work, the people have spoken.

How long before US sanctions and CIA attempts to overthrow?

They aren't left wing in the traditional South American sense; they aren't Chavez with his authoritarianism and looney economic policies. They are quite middle class. The opposition is centralist. It's a bit like FF and FG rather than the Shinners and some right wing equivalent.

I wouldn't go that far. But yes they are more a centralist movement, including middle class votes.
