I have a large negative equity mortgage where my ex has disappeared. I have completed an updated SFS for BOI review, this SFS arrangement been happening every year for the past 5 years. However this time I have received an email asking me to fill out the completed signed form below. This is strange because there is already a segment in the SFS where you declare your marital status.
Also, this is a new development compared to previous SFS, Anyone have any advice about whether this is some kind of legally binding acknowledgement?
Confused.
The last known details of my former spouse / partner are as follows:
I agree to make every reasonable effort to ensure that my former spouse / partner is made aware of and involved in this review process as a joint party to the mortgage.
Yours faithfully,
