In Feb this year, I switched my current a/c from BOI to PTSB. Despite a few niggling problems, all went OK with the switch. I have 2 BOI mortgages and I've getting letters from them informing me that one of the mortgage payments has been missed - 3 months in a row. Ultimately, I end up calling them up and giving them card details to clear the 'arrears'.
In discussion with BOI, they have confirmed that both DD mandates contain the same account information and tthey don't know whats causing the problem. They're admitted that this is a problem with SEPA implementation (on their side, no dpubt) and that quite a number of customers have been affected. Anyone else in the same boat?
