Bank of Ireland recently reduced a number of there deposit rates.

I opened an easy access account before christmas that was paying 3 per cent variable plus 1 per cent fixed (subject to t&c). Boi are no longer accepting new business for this account so not advertising rates. Does anyone what is easiest way of finding if rate changed?

Good practice dictates that a bank publishes both current and also legacy deposit rates. For example, PTSB and Ulster Bank publish legacy product rates.

Poor practice is constantly removing deposit products and hiding the rates of legacy products. BoI do this and regularly change the rates down quietly.

The regulator should mandate all banks to publish both legacy and current rates on their website.

not very convenient to have to ring them always either.
