wondering if anyone has experience of dealing with bank of ireland for data protection act. My aunt is a longstanding customer and had occasion to make complaint to financial Ombudsman FSPO. She made a data protection act section 4 request separately. Only some data was released and she noted that responses to FSPO were more comprehensive and included data that bank claimed was not available. The bank have been less than helpful or honest. They recently blocked her calls and email for queries on active accounts and claim that she can only write by post. Is this typical ?
