Boarding kennels in South Dublin

Can anyone recommend a good boarding kennel for our Golden Labrabador?

She's only been left in kennels once before and came back traumatised. Ideally we'd like somewhere local (Dundrum/Sandyford) area, but quality is more important than location or price. I've found a few places via google, but would really like to hear from someone with a good experience.

I think most dogs hate being left in kennels at the best of times. My old lab wouldn't come near me for 2 days after being in kennels for 1 week!

You need to try and find someone who (as well as running the business) has genuine time for and a love of dogs.

There are also people who will take dogs into their own homes and others who will call to your house twice a day to feed and walk the dog.

I'm not in Dublin so can't offer any advice on any specific kennels in your area.

I am considering getting a dog myself, but I am not sure.

I can take the dog for a week and use it as an experience to see if I should get a dog myself.
