BMW Z4 experiences

Has anybody got any experiences of driving a BMW Z4 on the roads here?

I drove one as a hire care in the US but it had a 4.5 litre engine and was mainly used on highways, so I'm looking for opinions on how the smaller engined versions available here drive on our (less than highway quality!) roads.

Drove one for a short while(had to get two new roofs as both were attacked by mindless idiots with knives) a 2.5 model lovely to drive on smooth roads if you could find one awful on bad roads bumping all over the place if you pushed it.
As a everyday car I would not go for one again.
Gone all sensible now-god i hate it

Got a lend of my friends last summer for a week when myself and my wife went to Kerry for a week. Great car to drive but did feel like a bit of a cock

The boot space is tiny so don't expect to go far in one!

As a tall person (6'2) I found it simply too small... although an animal to go. I think long journeys down the country could be a bit uncomfortable.
