Hi,
A ‘clasp’ which seems to hold exhaust to body of car has come loose and is hanging down. My local mechanic said his welder would be too hot and could damage the car. He reckons a BMW garage. Anyone got any idea of a) if there is a BMW garage around sandyford area b) what it could cost? Is it the type of thing a Kwik fit kind of place could do? Thanks, its a 04 BMW 320D btw
 
i had the exact same problem with my 04 320d, the clasp for the exhaust came loose and was hanging down. i had it welded by a local garage without any problems! your best bet would be crash repair/panel beater, cost me €70

thats a relief, will probably try an Advanced Pitstop kind of place and take it from there. Cheer
