BMW 520d

Normally with a BM I would suggest a bigger engine but the 520d has excellent performance figures allied to wonderful fuel economy for a car of its type. According to Parkers, the previous 5 series was often referred to as the best car in the world, the new version is longer, wider and faster. So, if the 'slightly unusual' styling sits well with you it would appear to be an excellent choice. The resale value should also be bulletproof !

I rang a BMW garage to enquire about these recently but asked to talk to their service manager rather then a salesman. He said he'd sum the 520s up in one word.

Interested in one of these in the future also , maybe a 3year old one in 2008 from the UK, as this won't be as popular in the UK as here because of the 530d and 535d

Not many around though that I have seen. Seems to be plenty of 530D
