Blood on Carpet ?

Not to stray to far from the topic...but we've a problem with a carpet stain too........had to replace the valve on a rad and in doing so mananged to spray some of that nice "gungy" water from the rad onto the carpet.....no stain removers have worked...would the hydrogen peroxide be a good option?? The carpet is a faun coloured wool type

It might do no harm in trying. Just dont go any higher than 6% or 30 vol.

You can get little 100ml bottles from sallys or places like that, for about €2 or you could ask your hairdresser if they would give you a little bit.

6% is actually 20 volume and 9% is 30 vol.

I would be very nervous as I stated earlier of applying anything higher than 3% to a stain.

Sometimes even 3% or 10 vol can be quite caustic to the skin, if spilt - so wear gloves when using it.

Normally it can be bought in a pharmacy otc.

oops lol i meant 20 vol.

I've used this strength before on blood and it's worked ok. It didn't cause any damage.
