generally roller blinds are 'wipable'(Did I just make up a word there! possibly but you get the idea!) I recently invested in blinds for my house and was told that you can wipe them down with a damp cloth and they're as good as new!
we recently cleaned our blinds (white in colour) by bleaching them, we half filled the bath with water, added 2 cups of bleach and un rolled the blind into the bath and leave to soak for a while, dont let the roller part of the blind into the solution, blinds came out brilliant white, warning... i suggest you try this first on an old blind...... i can not be responsible for how your blinds turn out..
Hi
I am in the process of doing all our blinds. I fill the bath with luke warm water - put in some handwash powder - gently agitate - then unroll the blinds - put into water leaving the mechanism over the side of the bath. After about 20 mins, either hang on the line or over the top of shower and them dry. Good as new - even the trim comes out spotless! Have to say all my blinds are cream.
HTH.
Good idea to clean them yourself, I dont know of any company that will do this for you. The bath is ideal as its large enough to clean them all together and at one.
As above, use cold or lukewarm, not hot. You can use vinegar, bleach or washing powder. Any should do the trick. For stains, you could use a bar of Vanish.
